FACILITIES

Facilities at Stella Maris Nursing Home include two large lounges and a conservatory. The lounges are situated at each end of the house, convenient to all bedrooms and dining rooms. The decor throughout has been carefully chosen to create a warm and welcoming environment; residents can watch TV in our Day Room or in the privacy their own bedroom, visit with family and friends in the quiet visiting room overlooking the garden or in our other large visiting room or conservatory room.

All rooms are beautifully and individually decorated to create a warm and welcoming environment.

They are fitted with a nurses call system, electronically adjusted orthopedic beds and fixed curtain surrounds for each semi private room for privacy.

Each room is spacious to allow ample wheelchair accessibility. All en-suites have wheelchair accessible showers raised toilet frames and nurses call alarm system.Each room and en-suite is fitted with a Fire Detection System.

Single and double rooms are available.

All food is home cooked daily and produce is sourced from our local suppliers.A wide variety of food is available on our menu offering a choice at each meal to our residents.

Special dietary requirements are catered and menus are planned with our dietitian. Food choices are discussed with residents so that we know your preferences of likes and dislikes.Homemade breads scones and cakes are made daily. All our desserts are homemade which are great favours with residents.

All meals are served in our bright and spacious dining room. If you prefer to have your meals served in your bedroom this can be facilitated to you. Staff are always at hand to help during meal times.

Snacks and drinks are always available. If you need anything from the kitchen at any time just ask a member of staff for assistance.
